What brings joy and wonder to your life?
Q. I geuss what I mean is , what is something you have done since you were a child that has always brought you real wonder and joy?For me it is going to flea markets and collecting antique candles and candle holders.

A. I find joy in random conversations with strangers while I'm standing in a check out line. Sometimes we "click" and it's like there's a sense of being on exactly the same wave length - an equal give and take that brings inner peace and mutual encouragement. At other times I am stymied by the amount of personal info a stranger will share, continuing on so long that I begin to feel uncomfortable and need to escape. At times like this, I wonder what it is about me that attracts these talkative strangers. During your flea market searches, have you ever found something that you just knew was waiting there for you, and you alone ? LIke you find it in a place where it absolutely does not belong ?

Tips for Selling on Ebay?
Q. I'm a stay at home mom wanting to turn my antique collecting hobbie into extra money on the side. I have a good eye for antiques and valuables but have no idea what will/won't sell on Ebay. I know there are books and cd's on selling but i'm really just looking for tips on what sells and what doesn't and in and out's of selling. And mainly what to sell and what not.

A. Hey. I am a stay at home mum and I have an ebay business. I have been running for about 5 mths and doing really well. First step- your've done- (work out what you want to sell) Research! Go on ebay and have a look at the antiques and see what is selling and prices (you can check completed listings to see what items ended for) Research is a very big part to sell items. Always have to be looking at what is selling/ what ppl are after etc. In's and outs. Ok you need to take photos of your item/s Edit them (colour lighter, crop etc.) Good pics attract more buyers Make a description (work out start price and how much shipping will be.) - If you dont know go to the postage and have the item weighed. List your item-Once it sells-wait for payment- [cont.]

Can you please suggest a gift for my father's 60th birthday?
Q. He's not really into anything specific. He golfs, but it's not a passion. He collects antique little fire trucks, but he has so many and his wife complains about how much room they take up. I'm not that close with him, so it can't be a mushy #1 Dad type gift. Any suggestions?
