A. Hmm ill try to answer a few in a sentence or two and then you can expand. 3) She doesn't care, she says she never liked it and it was too big for her anyways. 8) Francis starts to make fun of Atticus in front of Scout, calling him a Nig*er lover. 11) He hopes they wont become bitter and racist and insulting 12) She is upset because she feels like he is boring and does not do anything. He cant play football and he is a layer unlike the other fathers who are clerks. 13) Mockingbirds don't do any harm just sing sweet songs. They don't eat the crops just sing and leave everyone alone. 14) She says Atticus thinks it is an unfair advantage that God gave him. 16) Jen destroys them because he got sick of her insults. 17) Hmm I think he takes it as… [cont.]

What book series involves a Senior high school class who are gradually being murdered?
Q. I used to read this book series consisting of at least 5 separate books based on a senior class who has a curse on them. The front of the books have a "yearbook" of all the students and as they are murdered their pictures are exed out in the following books. This was a favorite series of mine and I just can't remember what the titles were, or who the author was.

A. I don't know a series, but there's a single book called Killing Britney by Sean Olin.

A. For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot's young adult books. She is the best author. Also best selling. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), All-American Girl (up coming movie), Jinx, Airhead and more. She has adult books too, so you can grow with her. If you want more info or any of the authors website's email me. You should use the website, What Should I read Next. This website will make perfect suggestions based on what you have read.

What book would you recommend to a drummer who is in between easy and intermediate?
Q. I have been playing drums for about a year now and I fall into the half way between easy and intermediate. I need a book to help me with drumming skills and reading drum music. I have done Absolute Beginners Books 1&2 by Dave Zubraski but there is no part 3 in the series but I need a follow up book to that with a CD what would you recommend?

A. Get a copy of "The New Breed" by Gary Chester and make that book your bible. It uses a revolutionary system that will elevate your playing to the next level. You should be able to find this book at any music store or online at amazon.com or musiciansfriend.com At first, this book seems to have little practical use, but it will build your independence, reading, grooving, timekeeping and concentration skills like no other book on the market. Get this book before anything else, but I have a couple of other books you may want to check out. "Future Sounds" by David Garibaldi. This book is a method for playing linear funk in styles of Tower of Power and some Herbie Hancock songs. Of you have no interest in funk music, then pass this one… [cont.]

Q. I need two books to read and to later write a compare and contrast essay on. I already chose my first book which is Oliver Twist and I need help choosing a second book. The second book has to be of a different author and has to be written from the Ancient Times to the Nineteenth Century. I would like a book that can be easily compared and contrasted to Oliver Twist. Thanks.

A. Tom Sawyer would be a good book to do that on. I read it recently and am thinking it could work. It takes place in the 1800's, so there is a good comparison right there. Good luck!

A. It helps being famous. If you are famous, you can use your celebrity to get a publishing contract, regardless of the quality of your writing ... Assuming that doesn't apply, unfortunately, the fact that people who you know or who have asked say that they like what you have written is of little real value. It is very hard to get an honest critical opinion from people who value you as a friend or relation, and who might be concerned about upsetting you. If you can get a reader for a publisher to read it, he won't be bothered by that; he will simply be thinking to himself, "Can I sell enough copies of this to get my money back" (or, more realistically, "... to make loads of money"). What are some good chapter books for an upper elementary book club?
Q. I'd like chapter books that are in paperback and are age-appropriate for 3rd-6th graders. Cussing and sexual content should be kept to a minimum if at all. Classics are probably out of the question b/c I don't want to step on the toes of teachers. So far I've got The Secret Apartment, The Landry News, The War with Grandpa, and The Watsons Go to Birmingham. If you're a middle schooler who has some books you really like(d), I'd love your opinion. Same thing for parents and book lovers in general. :) Thanks! Thanks for the suggestions so far. I've thought about series books as many of you have mentioned, but these are books kids read already. I'd like for the books to be ones they might not normally select on their own. What book or author would you recommend to a 16 year old girl?
Q. I am trying to find some books to read. Some of my favorite authors are Cecilia Ahern, Nicholas Sparks, and Meg Cabot. So does anyone have any suggestions of what a good book would be that is close to their style of writing? Thanks!

How is Google Books getting the proprietary rights to publish nearly every book online?
Q. Does anybody know? It seems to defeat the purpose of buying books if you can access nearly any book anytime. I think they even offer downloadable PDF versions that you can save and keep forever! I can't say that's not good...I just don't get how they have the right to do that.

What book is about a guy who decides to document being homeless across the US for 2 yrs w his dog?
Q. I found this book in approx 1992-1993 and wanted to buy it but didn't, and I'd like to track it down to read it. Remember the story line but not the name. About a professional regular guy who decided to live homeless for a couple years with his dog, and then wrote a book about it.
