Q. I'm trying to rent a car for tomorrow morning. Hertz, Avis, Budget...the big ones are completely booked online. I'm renting from an airport in San Jose. It's mind-boggling that those big 3 are completely booked with the sheer amount of cars in those lots. Anyone have an idea what the chances are of going to the actual lots themselves and asking at the counter for rentals? I called and was told to keep trying the online site.
